Sassuolo performance may have killed Dalbert's chance of making Champions League squad

Sassuolo performance may have killed Dalbert's chance of making Champions League squad

A small piece of trust may have been destroyed and who knows if this is the final nail in the coffin, so to speak. Dalbert is like that one tennis player who always wastes the set point. To arrive to that set point, he deserves some credit because the Brazilian closed summer preseason playing very well and that’s why he deserved to start in Reggio Emilia.

It is too bad that it was a forgettable performance for the Brazilian which is likely to cost him a spot on the Champions League list. Because Dalbert is one of the candidates to be excluded from that list one that Inter will have to deliver to UEFA on September 3rd. Spalletti must leave two players out, three if Joao Mario ends up staying at Appiano Gentile. In addition to Dalbert, one will come from the following players: Borja Valero, Candreva and Gagliardini.
