According to Tuttosport, Spalletti is now facing some sort of tactical dilemma: will he confirm the 4-2-3-1 formation again or go with the three-man defense in a 3-4-2-1?

In case of the 4-2-3-1, there are two internal duels: the first is D’Ambrosio-Vrsalkjo for the right back position and the second is Keita-Lautaro for the role of the trequartista. Asamoah will return to the left side while Skriniar is going to be in place of De Vrij.

If Spalletti decided to go for a three-man defense then Politano would be out of the starting lineup with De Vrij playing next to Miranda and Skriniar. Vrsaljko would be the favorite over D’Ambrosio for the right midfielder role. In both cases, Perisic should start against Torino.
