Skriniar wants €3M per year, in stand by with Inter
A few weeks ago, Skriniar’s new contract seemed to be just a formality. But the reality is that the Slovakian defender has said no to the latest Inter offer of €2.5M per year until 2023. To the player and his agent, that is not enough because the bar should be raised to at least €3M. Negotiation is not definitively collapsed but it certainly did not get off to a good start and seeing how the player is strongly wanted by top European clubs such as Manchester United, that will only give more leverage to Skriniar and his entourage. It is a wait-and-see period and there is still much work to be done.
