Vrsaljko: "I'm fine, I will speak with Inter doctors." Croatia coach: "I took him out before things got worse. Should be fine in couple days"
Speaking to Sport Mediaset after the game against Spain, Sime Vrsaljko wanted to reassure the fans about his left knee injury which forced him out of the game just after 20 minutes.
“I am fine. It is just a problem that I had at the World Cup. Now I will have to solve it by talking with the Inter medical staff. Yes, I felt pain.”
Croatia coach, Zlatko Dalic chimes in: “He has an injury, a knee problem. It was best for him to leave the game before the situation gets worse.” He continues, “Sime will take a couple of days and then it is ok.”
