Inter and D'Ambrosio to resume contract discussion

Inter and D'Ambrosio to resume contract discussion

Danilo D’Ambrosio is going through a very good period. Despite having to compete with two new fullbacks in Asamoah and Sime Vrsaljko, the Italian continues to be featured in Spalletti’s starting 11 and yesterday, his goal brought home three golden points.

Last summer, Inter and D’Ambrosio started talk to extend his contract until 2022 and according to FCIN, the discussion resumed about 10 days ago. The idea is to add one more year to the current agreement but a new contract to 2023 is not out of question. The player is going to get a small increase as well. In short, Danilo is happy at Inter and the club is satisfied with his contribution on the pitch.
