FCIN - Marotta set to increase offer for Mauro Icardi

FCIN - Marotta set to increase offer for Mauro Icardi

The words of Giuseppe Marotta and Steven Zhang have somewhat calmed the fans who are trying to cope with what is going on between the club and Icardi when it comes to his new contract.

The next meeting, probably the first with Marotta, is expected to be next week and in which, Inter are going to make an offer of €6.5M net per season plus bonuses. Nara will reject it, asking for €8M as the basic wage which can go up to €10M with bonuses.

This opening from Inter should be read as an important chapter in negotiations because it is always better to sit down and talk rather than doing nothing. Doing so would allow both sides to bridge the difference which has been major.

FCIN also reports that the finalization of this deal is expected to come around spring time.
