Is it really true? Are Inter going to get the most sought-after Italian midfielder in the world? Apparently yes.

According to Calciomercato, Inter have beaten Napoli and Chelsea in the race to sign Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella. The Italian will turn 22 years old on February 7th and has agreed to join the Nerazzurri in the summer. In return, Suning will pay €40M in fixed transfer fee plus €10 in bonuses. The same source says that this deal will be completed in the coming days and then Barella will join Inter next summer. The decisive meeting seems to take place yesterday when Marotta, Ausilio and Giulini met for lunch.
