Mauro Icardi very close to extend Inter contract until 2023: €7M annually, €180M release clause

We are very close to see Mauro Icardi extending his contract with Inter until 2023. According to Sport Mediaset, a second official meeting will happen in the next few hours but it is no longer important as things have been moving along nicely. And now, Wanda waits only for the call to see Marotta and Ausilio to get to the long-awaited happy finish.

Steven Zhang, reportedly, is playing a major role in negotiation thanks to his direct inclusion. The offer is now €7M annually plus bonuses. Moreover, both sides have also agreed to up the release clause to €180M.
