Knee discomfort again after Sassuolo and now Sime Vrsaljko may need surgery
“Sime Vrsaljko is likely to have work done to his knee. This is the reason that Inter decided to push hard for a new right back who is ready to step on the pitch right away, regardless of the redemption fee of €17.5M.”
Tuttosport continues to explain, “Vrsaljko once again felt discomfort in his knee following a training session after the game against Sassuolo. This problem has been following the Croatian since the World Cup.”
In short, because of the many hurdles to overcome and the continuous hitches, Inter are forced to take precaution and then decide later in June. Not only the knee injury in the World Cup, but Sime Vrsaljko has hurt two more times against Spain and England in the Nations League. With three competitions to take on, and practically one healthy right back, Inter can no longer wait.
