Cambiasso: "Most memorable Juve match? November 22nd, 2008. I still don't know how I managed to play for 95 minutes..."
Esteban Cambiasso speaks to Sky on the most memorable Inter-Juventus match.
“The Inter-Juve that I will never forget is on November 22nd, 2008. The reason? The birth of my first daughter. I was in pre-match training and I got a call from my wife, it must have been 1:30 am in the morning. Mourinho asked me: ‘What do you want to do?’ I said: ‘I want to go.’ ‘Ok go, when the baby is born, give her a kiss then come back.’ I returned at 9:30 am, so many of my teammates didn’t even know what had happened. And in the evening, we won thanks to the goal of Muntari. I still don’t know how I managed to play for 95 minutes.”
