Inter to break box office earnings, again: €6.5M for match against Juventus. Match will be a spectacle with 40 TV channels present, seen in 200 countries

It will be a super atmosphere tomorrow night at the San Siro. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, not only that, Inter-Juventus will be the richest match ever in the history of all Italian clubs given that the box office earnings will be a whopping €6.5M.

It will be about €700K more than Inter-Barcelona (€5.8M) and €800K more than Milan-Inter (€5.8M) a season ago. All tickets are sold out: the 236th Italian derby will be seen live by 75 thousand fans, a figure lower than previous matches between these two clubs since the capacity of the Giuseppe Meazza is reduced by 2,350 seats. Therefore, the super gate receipt record can be explained by the increase in basic ticket price in addition to selling out all VIP seats.

More numbers: fans in attendance will be from 100 countries, 20% of tickets are sold abroad, 40 TV channels and the game will be seen in 200 countries.
