Moratti: "Inter lack continuity but must aspire to win the Scudetto. Calciopoli appeals from Juve? Impossible to win"
Speaking to Radio Anch’io Lo Sport, former Inter president Massimo Moratti discusses the matcha against Juventus yesterday.
“First half was beautiful, exciting. Inter played well. The second was more troublesome as Inter fell off a bit. To win the Scudetto, all teams must have continuity and in this aspect, Inter have less than Juventus. They must put themselves in a position to aspire to winning the title, on the other hand, the Bianconeri are very strong. Juve start from a very solid foundation, from all of Allegri’s work and we saw wonderful plays last night. The second goal was very nice, Sarri has shown that he loves good football and can bring something different and new.”
On the continuous appeals from Juve to take away Inter’s 2006 Scudetto.
“After so many years, even the strongest resentment begins to fall but I see that they insist instead. They must have found someone who knows absolutely nothing about it and one that gives them reason, otherwise it’s impossible.”
