Gabriel Brazao's transfer to Parma (and Inter) almost did not happen because of... a printer
January transfer market closed yesterday and Gabriel Brazao’s contract was submitted to the league office by Parma after completing an operation worth €2.5M with Cruzeiro. And now, the Brazilian goalkeeper will complete the U-20 South American tournament with his country and then he will land in Italy. Negotiation for this operation lasted for a few weeks and at first it was initially Chievo and not Parma as the team that Inter wanted to team up with.
Anyway, a curious behind the scene detail has emerged. In Chile, the hotel that the U-20 Brazilian national team stays at was supposed to print some documents for Gabriel Brazao to sign. But the printer did not work and so, in a hurry, the goalkeeper had to go to a small business so that he can print the documentation necessary for the transfer.
