Sky - Napoli don't have money to meet Icardi's wage demand. Inter will soon offer new contract

Two summers ago, Napoli were very serious on Mauro Icardi but today, it is very difficult to hypothesize a possible Icardi’s transfer to the Azzurri this July. The player is demanding €9M-€10M and it is simply unthinkable that De Laurentiis would pay this amount.

In the next few days, according to Sky, Inter will make an offer between €6.5M-€7M to renew Mauro’s contract. Gianluca Di Marzio adds that “Icardi needs to know what he wants to do from here until the end of the season. For now, he continues to stay at home. I believe that another meeting with the club and Spalletti is needed.”
