Inter looking for a bomber: Dzeko in Italy, Lukaku abroad
Marotta and Ausilio are gearing up to scour the transfer market looking for a bomber. It is too early to talk about existing negotiations but some ideas are clearer than others.
In Serie A, Inter are interested in Edin Dzeko whose contract will expire with Roma in just 14 months. At 32 years old, he would represent an ideal solution for a possible three-headed monster together with Icardi and Lautaro as the club is waiting to end the quarrel with the Argentinian number 9. Not only Edin knows our league, his European curriculum is tremendous. The Bosnian is ideal for Inter but they must negotiate with Roma because his contract only expires in 2020.
Abroad, there are many opportunities that Inter are considering, one of which is Romelu Lukaku of Manchester United. After the dismissal of Mourinho, the player seems to be a bit calmer: playing more, scoring more. But the first choice for Solskjaer remains youngster Marcus Rashford and this causes the Belgian bulldozer to think about going elsewhere int he summer. Manchester United paid €80M for him and so he won’t be cheap even if they put him on the market.
In any case, Zhang’s team is studying all the variants for a transfer market that triumphs all those in the past. Everything is possible. Common sense must be the central idea of all decisions made at Appiano Gentile. By all.
