La Repubblica - Inter likely to be completely different next year: perhaps with new coach and... Dybala?
The Inter of future may be very different from this current one. Not only that it is almost certain that Mauro Icardi will leave the club, but also we can expect a new coach if something should go wrong in the finale of this season.
The project, 10 years after winning the treble, is to return to winning. “If Spalletti does not qualify for the Champions League, we could expect to see Conte or Allegri on the bench to attempt winning the Scudetto for this club with two top international leaders on the field, such as Godin and Rakitic and two new talents from the Italian national team such as Chiesa and Barella. But without Icardi, since yesterday, it is even more clear now.”
According to La Repubblica, “an exchange with Dybala is more than just a suggestion. Juve are an adversary but business is business. For Marotta, renewing Icardi’s contract has never been a priority. In fact, the €110M has been lowered because at most, Icardi is now only worth €70M-€80M. However, selling him would bring in considerable capital gains as Inter paid €13M to sign him from Sampdoria in 2013 and after amortization, he only weighs €2.5M on the budget.”
