Inter interest in Pépé is confirmed... but not the rumored €60M offer

There are many options for the wing position in view of next season. The problem is all of them are expensive. We are talking about Chiesa, Bergwijn and the latest in Pepe of Lille. The Ivorian striker is valued to be around €80M, a massive figure that has even slowed down clubs like Bayern Munich and those in England (Arsenal offered €45M in January and that was immediately rejected).

In recent days, there was a report suggesting an offer of €60M from Inter, already presented to Lille president Lopez by Suning. According to FCIN, interest from Inter is confirmed as club scouts have seen him on several occasions but there is no offer of that kind. Ausilio has a good relationship with the player’s representatives who negotiated with the Inter director for Jonathan Bamba before he moved from Lille to Saint-Etienne.

The spotlights of Inter will still be on Pepe but at the moment there is nothing concrete… yet.
