Asamoah: "Udinese? Always emotional facing former club. Happy with this year but maybe I could have done more"
Kwadwo Asamoah discusses with Sky about the upcoming game against his former club Udinese.
“It is always difficult when you go and play against a former club, there is emotion. Right now, they are a bit in trouble and they will certainly try to have a strong performance. We must be alert from the get go because they are going through a moment that they want to give everything. Bringing home this result would be the best thing for us to be more calm, other teams are coming behind us and so this is the time when we have to give everything. We have the qualities and players to aim high. We must maintain the right attitude and desire to win all the remaining matches.”
The Ghanaian defender also talks about his first year in Black and Blue.
“I am happy with what I have done this year. Maybe I could have done more but right now we have a great goal to reach with four more games left to go. I miss scoring goals but for how I play now, I would rather have assists because I have to think first about defending for the good of the team.”
