With four games remaining, Inter need their strikers to score again (only 3 goals in last 7 games)
Today, the Corriere dello Sport points out the difficulty that Inter strikers are going through when it comes to scoring. From Icardi, Keita to Lautaro, the goals are missing.
Looking at the past seven matches, only three goals were scored by strikers. Inter were able to survive for over 50 days without the number 9 striker. Third place is still in place and Inter are relatively secured in this position but with four games remaining, we need them to do their job again. Just like the last-breath goal scored against Napoli by Lautaro Martinez and then three days later, it was Keita’s turn to score in Empoli. And unfortunately for the Senegalese, he then was stopped due to an injury. And then the Icardi case happened and Lautaro got hurt playing for the national team.
But now with all three available and with the seasonal objective on the line, the fans now need them to get back on track.
