Conte prefers Moses over Danilo (Man. City), Lukaku over Icardi. The biggest dream? Federico Chiesa
The Inter of Antonio Conte are being born, ideas that will have to transformed into facts and actions. On the list of Piero Ausilio and Giuseppe Marotta, there are many names that have the approval of the Italian coach and Inter’s transfer market men are working their best to fulfill his wishes.
Just a few more days and then Inter will officially bid farewell to Luciano Spalletti and the new coach will immediately take over and is going to have the opportunity to have a quick chat with his team, specially Icardi, before they all go out on summer vacation. Speaking of the Argentinian, his future is uncertain and it seems that Inter have already decided his fate. This technical choice has been communicated by Marotta to Conte who will tell the striker that there will be no more room for him here at Inter in an attempt to convince Icardi to really consider the possibility of leaving, making room for Lukaku, the real desire of the former Chelsea coach.
Conte for years has perfected the back three and the idea of using 3-4-3 with attacking wingers is a fascinating one. This is the reason why, at the moment, it is fair to say that the Federico Chiesa is the big dream of Inter, dream because he costs between €70M to €80M. On the right hand side, however, the candidacy of Victor Moses is increasing. He is coming from a so-so season with the shirt of Fenerbahce but with Conte at Chelsea, that was the peak of his career. Previously, there was talk of Danilo but perhaps Conte has hinted that the possibility of having the Brazilian in this squad does not exactly excite him.
What would excite him? As previously mentioned, Lukaku in the attack. Inter already have in mind the first offer and they will send it through agent Pastorello: €30M-€40M plus Ivan Perisic, always attracted to the possibility of playing in the Premier League.
