Inter to start negotiating for Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca who has €40M release clause
According to AS, Inter are now back in for Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca.
“He is a pillar of Espanyol and thanks to his performances not only at his club but also at U-21 Spanish national team, Inter have been paying close attention since January. In fact, they did try to sign him in the winter market and will return soon according to sources close to the player and the club.
“Inter have a high age average of 29 years old and so they are targeting players that have high potential and growth margins and Roca definitely fits in this category. The player has a release clause of €40M which is not too much for a club whose market value exceeds €550M according to Transfermarkt although the Italians will try to negotiation with the Spanish club. The sale of Roca will depend on how firm Espanyol’s position is. At this point, Roca’s representatives believe that there is no condition for him to leave although everything is possible.”
