More investments from Suning: moving into new headquarters, building new training facility and upgrading the current one

With or without Champions League football, Suning will not stop investing in Inter and not only in terms of team quality. With the project of building a new stadium still under consideration, Inter are also thinking about other aspects of the club, starting with the new headquarters which should be good to go this summer.

“June 14th will be the last day for all employees at Corso Vittorio Emanuele site. Then they will transfer to Via della Liberazione, a stone’s throw from the most fashionable and continuously developing area of the city. There are five floors plus the roof terrace (events will take place here), rented for six years plus another six incase of renewal.

“The top floor will house offices of Inter president Steven Zhang and the CEO’s while the lower one will be reserved for the trophy room: the cups will be arranged in a circular fashion and will follow chronological order with the 2010 Champions League trophy in the center of everything. There will also be a modern meeting room with glass walls that will darken to project images and videos onto it.

“The three lower floors will be for the rest of the employees. Two curiosities: the meeting rooms will not have the names of great players or coaches of the past, but they will have the names of world countries because Inter are… Brothers of The World. The second is that outside the building there will be the Inter logo.”

Another project is the further renovation of Pinetina.

“A new facility will be built in Appiano near the gym and dressing rooms. It will have 40 rooms, one restaurant, video rooms and other spaces reserved for the team. There will also be underground parking. Work should be completed next spring. There is also a facelift for the current club house and pitches which should be ready this August.”
