Ten richest football owners in Europe: Zhang Jingdong in top 10, richer than PSG president Al-Khelaifi
Forbes has put together the list of top ten richest football owners in Europe. Commanding the rankings is the owner of Real Oviedo, currently in second division of the Spanish league, in Carlos Slim, the Mexican telecommunications magnate which boasts a personal wealth of $59.2b, making him the fifth richest man on earth.
Slim is followed by Francois Pinault, owner of French club Rennes as well as the founder of Kerin group, owner of fashion brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, which reaches $31.7b. Third on the list is Mansour bin Zayd Al Nahyan, the sheikh president of Manchester City at $23b.
Andrea Agnelli is in fifth place with $15.9b in estimated assets. In the top there there is another owner from Italian club and it is Zhang Jindong, Suning boss and Inter, at $6.8b. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint Germain, is 10th with a fortune of “only” $6.2b.
