Lukaku: "Conte is best coach in the world. I love Italy and have always wanted to play in Serie A. I've made my decision and it'll be busy summer"
Speaking to Sport Mediaset after the game between Belgium and Scotland, Romelu Lukaku gave a huge nod to Inter and the Italian league. The strong striker of Manchester United has been a target of Inter for some time and he wastes no time praising the club’s new coach in Antonio Conte.
“It’s great that Conte went to Inter because to me he is the best coach in the world. He knows what I think of him, I am one who does not like talking about relationships with coaches. As for my future, I have already made a decision that I cannot yet talk publicly about it out of respect for Manchester United with whom I still have a contract. It is the club that has to decide and make its own decisions. I’m going to have a fun vacation with family. I know what I’m going to do but I don’t want to say it. We’ll see. It will be a busy summer.
“Serie A? I’m a big fan, those around me know that I’ve always wanted to play in the English and Italian leagues: I love Italy. Cristiano Ronaldo came there, Maurizio Sarri will go to Juventus, there’s Ancelotti at Napoli: it will be an exciting Serie A season.”
