Inter CEO Antonello confirms UEFA FFP capital gain requirement: "Must reach objective by June 30th first, then second phase is summer transfer window"

Speaking at Inter’s training camp presentation, Alessandro Antonello, club’s CEO, discusses the event with the media and also answers a few questions.

“We have to reach the objective that we have set for ourselves by June 30th (UEFA FFP capital gains). Marotta and Ausilio are working in this direction and there are several days of work remaining and we are confident about satisfying this requirement.”

Do you expect to have an important number of players in time for training camp? Is it a request of Conte or is it just about looking at the possibility?

“It will depend only on the possibilities of the players that will be available.”

Will Inter continue to proceed with smaller market operations?

“In this first phase, we have to close the financial year on June 30th and then we will consider the summer window phase.”

Anybody else is leaving?

“Right now, it is all open. There are so many options: it is premature to talk now.”

Talk a bit about the decision in choosing Lugano as your destination for summer camp.

“The goal was to bring Inter to training camp in a location where infrastructure and environmental conditions are ideal to start the season. Making ideal conditions available to new coaching staff to start again. Then let’s not forget that Lugano is a city of business, therefore there is the desire to bring our partners and the people of Lugano closer together to create development conditions.”
