Manchester United want to break even on Lukaku: demanding €84m
According to The Sun, the real obstacle preventing Romelu Lukaku from joining Inter right now is the very high evaluation that Manchester United have for the striker: £75m or €84m. This is practically the same amount paid by the Red Devils to acquire the player from Everton.
United believe that, despite having a down year, the Belgian has not lost any value to his name and that vice president Ed Woodward intends to recover same amount of money spent for Lukaku. That being said, they really want to sell because the striker’s wage weighs greatly on their budget and the intention is to reinvest it elsewhere.
