Since June 28th 2016, Suning has invested almost €600m

Today marks exactly three years with Suning at the helm of Inter. And Calcio & Finanza takes this opportunity to draw up the list of investments that this Chinese ownership has made for this club.

“Suning’s investments have reached almost €600m in recent years: that is just a round up number which will likely be exceeded with the balance sheet ending on June 30th 2019. Considering only the payments between loans and revenues from sponsorship (partial data for 2018-2019, relating only to the naming rights of Inter training ground in Pinetina to the brand on training shirt), in fact, the Chinese group has poured €595m into this club.

“Within three seasons (keep in mind that 2018-2019 data is incomplete), revenues from sponsorships with Suning exceeded €115m: €56m in 2016-2017, €39m in 2017-2018 and at least €22m already guaranteed in 2018-2019 (again data here is partial). Numbers that will guarantee Inter a further leap forward in terms of revenues which in 2018-2019 should get close to €370m without capital gains: that figure will exceed €400m if you consider revenues from player sales which Inter are closing several deals until June 30th.”
