Friendly 1: Lugano vs. Inter probable lineup - It's time to put everything into practice for the first time
Antonio Conte’s Inter will make their debut in Lugano on Sunday afternoon to challenge Lugano FC after one full week of training behind closed doors and away from prying eyes in the Swiss city.
On the pitch, the coach will ask Handanovic and the rest of the team to put in practice the movements that they have learned this week and also the plays and schemes that they have done obsessively (yesterday everything was about tactics). The team will start out with a back three, the trademark of Antonio Conte and the biggest change that the team is going through after years player with a four-man defense (last time Inter tried this was with Gasperini).
Godin is still on vacation and will only arrive in the second half of the Asian tour while Bastoni will return on time for departure on Tuesday and so it is likely that Conte will start with De Vrij, Skriniar and Ranocchia.
Up front, Inter are without the injured Politano, Icardi and Lautaro Martinez who is also on vacation after Copa America. And since neither Dzeko nor Lukaku is here, it will be up to Longo and one of Esposito and Colidio.
Lugano started their preparation on June 20th and were third in the Swiss Super League last season and next weekend they will play their first league match. In short, they will be more ready, a lot more in shape but overall it’s going to be fun.
Probable lineup: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Ranocchia; Perisic, Sensi, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Candreva; Esposito, Longo
