Juventus, Inter are working on Icardi-Kean exchange: Bianconeri want straight swap, Nerazzurri would do it for another €20M
By now it is no longer a mystery: Mauro Icardi and Juventus are in each other’s destiny. Both sides have had an agreement for months: until 2024 for €8M plus bonuses. This is the result of almost a year of pressing Fabio Paratici who now has the yes from both the striker and wife Wanda Nara.
Inter, on their part, have publicly admitted more than one occasion that Icardi is out of the technical project of the team. In short: this love story has turned real bitter and is now over. Juventus feel that they are in a position of strength, knowing that Inter must sell Icardi who left Lugano training camp this morning to return to Milan and will not be part of Inter’s summer plans.
According to FCIN, the idea of Juve is to do an equal exchange between the Argentinian and Moise Kean. At that point, evaluation would not be a problem and both clubs would realize major capital gain that would settle financial account for both sides.
All would be happy then? Perhaps, although at this time there are no concrete signals from Kean and his entourage. The renewal for Kean until 2024 for €2M has been on the table for sometime but it is not official yet. The Italian striker has one more year left in his contract and doing an exchange now would benefit the Bianconeri greatly. Kean is a great talent that has much room for improvement which is Inter are not ruling this out.
Suning would obviously be more interested in an exchange plus €20 from Juventus. Both sides will speak as we are only at the beginning.
