Defiant Icardi against Inter: "I will stay for two years, take all my wages. I will not leave"
Today, Antonio Conte’s Inter will debut on the pitch in Lugano against the Swiss side. The Nerazzurri will be without strikers (just Primavera ones) and, in particular, will be without Mauro Icardi. Yesterday, the Argentinian was sent back to Milan because of his below par physical condition and Mauro will not leave for China with the rest of the group.
“Mauro Icardi will return to Milan from training camp in Lugano. The club and the Argentinian have made this decision by mutual agreement. Icardi will continue his athletic reconditioning program in the coming days and will not take part in the Summer Tour in Asia.”
Mutual agreement, at least in these words… Because according to La Repubblica, when the player knew about the decision and announcement, he blurted out that “I will stay here for two years, take my wages and I will not leave.”
A phase that emphasizes how that common agreement was probably between Inter and Antonio Conte but not with the player.
