Everything, or at least a lot of it, surrounds the non-essentials. Antonio Conte complained about it in Singapore on Friday before the game against United (“We are a step behind, especially on selling the players”) and now Inter will try to please him as soon as possible.

The hottest three names that have been transfer listed by Inter are undoubtedly Icardi, Nainggolan and Perisic. On the first two, Marotta declared that “they are not part of our project” on July 6th and then it was Conte’s turn to dash Perisic’s hope and dreams of a future at Inter, saying that “Ivan cannot do what I ask for.”

One summer ago, they were worth €200M and now the total price tag could be more or less €95M. The noise that they made in the dressing room in Spalletti’s second year costs Inter €105M.
