Sky - Roma consider giving Dzeko new contract. Inter? Must increase offer...
On Edin Dzeko, there’s Inter but Roma have no intention of lowering its economic demand of €20M because Higuain has not yet opened up to the theory of playing for them this summer and also because Fonseca is very pleased with Dzeko’s work so far in this preseason.
According to Sky, the coach has already spoken with the club to give the player a new contract. And if he does not sign, Roma would then decide to keep him until the end of his contract. Fonseca considers him an important player and he also sees that there is no valid replacement available. Furthermore, Inter’s offer is not up there matching with their demand.
And so, it’s either Inter increase the offer or Dzeko’s transfer to the Nerazzurri is more complicated.
