Biasin: "Icardi, Spalletti got into it after Parma-Inter. Suning doesn't like Moratti's interference with laywer Nicoletti"
Fabrizio Biasin speaks to Passione Inter about what happened in the dressing room after Parma-Inter, an episode that perhaps started the Mauro Icardi saga.
“Many things have happened. With Spalletti, there was a problem in the dressing room after Parma-Inter. The coach got on the team despite the victory and Icardi tried to defend them. Things escalated there and became more serious. The coach was in a discussion with the team but then Icardi jumped in. Spalletti then took away the captain’s armband and ownership was on the coach’s side, cannot act otherwise. Furthermore, it was decided to sell Icardi because he was the only player that can provide substantial capital gains. Everything was decided in February with the conviction that the player would agree and would leave.
“Icardi’s character was underestimated, which is very different from others. Not better, not worse, just different. He believes he is right even though he wasn’t. Sooner or later, we will know what happened before Vienna, many believe that the call-up never happened. Sooner or later he too will speak. The situation was poorly managed by management, the coach and the player. He is now out of Inter’s project and I believe Suning did not take Moratti’s interference with famous lawyer Nicoletti well (Moratti recommended Nicoletti to Wanda and Icardi).”
