Marotta remains interested in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, may include Gagliardini in negotiation
The market for strikers currently occupies the most attention of Inter and its management but they are also looking at other opportunities.
In addition to the tug-of-war with Cagliari for Barella, the Nerazzurri would like to add another player in the midfield, especially considering the fact that Marotta has now publicly announced Nainggolan is not part of the plan.
In addition to the possible exchange with Vidal, the hypothesis of Milinkovic-Savic never really goes away. Compared to a year ago, the Serbian is a lot more negotiable after a season where he did not live up to his potential and possibilities.
That being said, there is still a huge market for him. In the front row is Paris Saint Germain which already have an agreement with the midfielder: Leonardo has not struck the deal yet even after losing Rabiot to Juventus. Behind the French, there’s the Old Lady themselves although after the arrivals of Rabiot and Ramsey, it’s difficult to imagine them spending huge amount of money for the same department.
What about Inter? The Nerazzurra have Marotta who has been on Milinkovic-Savic’s trail for a very long time since his days at Juventus. To lower the request of Lotito who wanted €150M last year and is asking for roughly €100M this year, Inter could include Gagliardini in negotiation whom that Inzaghi really likes.
Let’s not forget Manchester United who could sign the Serbian as Pogba’s replacement.
