Joao Miranda is on the market but his wages of €3.5M will be an issue especially if the player wants to return home
According to Tuttosport, Inter have decided to put Joao Miranda on the market.
During Sunday’s press conference, Antonio Conte did not mention the Brazilian as a center back option for next season. He said: “Looking at the squad, specifically the defensive department, we are very strong and I’m not only referring to Godin, De Vrij or Srkiniar. We also have D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia or Bastoni which could start for any team”
In short, Miranda is for sale. He is at the bottom of the hierarchies and has been since last season when Spalletti was in charge. Just like Icardi and Nainggolan, Inter do not feel that he is part of the project.
At this point, all that remains is to find a solution that benefits Inter and pleases the player who is on the last year of his contract for €3.5M. This figure will put basically all Brazilian clubs out of the action… unless the player decides to give a price cut.
