Marotta wants a Dream Team for Conte: continue working on Dzeko and Milinkovic-Savic (with Icardi's money)
Inter continue to advance forward on the transfer market. After breaking the club’s transfer fee record, the Nerazzurri are aiming for another striker and midfielder. All should be completed thanks to the sale of Mauro Icardi. Giuseppe Marotta dreams about giving Antonio Conte a dream team for next season and to do so, two more pieces are missing.
According to the Corriere della Sera, the chosen player for the attacking department is Roma striker Edin Dzeko however Inter are unlikely to complete that signing this week. Because first, Roma must find a replacement. It is at this point that Mauro Icardi returns to the conversation. Roma would like to have him in exchange with Dzeko and while Inter would be happy to get rid of him, the former captain is resisting the Giallorossi.
Marotta has no prejudices: Icardi can go anywhere as long as he does so at the right price. In Marotta’s heart, he hopes to exchange him with Dybala but Juve don’t want to surrender their Argentinian to the Nerazzurri after Lukaku case.
The second move is that the money from Icardi (capital gains etc…) would allow Inter to go after a quality midfielder and the dream is Milinkovic-Savic because in that part of the midfield, Conte needs more quality.
