Di Marzio - New Roma-Icardi contact as the Giallorossi are now ahead of Napoli in the race despite not playing in CL. Inter's demand is Dzeko plus €60M
Almost everything revolves around Mauro Icardi. Icardi, Juventus (currently concentrating on sales) and Roma are all interested in the striker and in the last few hours, it is the Giallorossi that are pushing for the former Inter captain and number 9.
Icardi, for now, has not yet decided but Petrachi insists on bringing him to Fonseca. Between Roma and Napoli, in the evaluation of Icardi and his wife Wanda, the Giallorossi are ahead despite not playing in the Champions League.
However, the final ok still has not arrived: in case there is one in the coming days, both sides would seek the agreement on Icardi’s evaluation and that of Dzeko. Even yesterday, Roma made it clear how important the Bosnian is to their team but if Icardi were to agree to the transfer, then the sale would be considered.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, should Icardi-Dzeko become more concrete, Inter would ask for a balance between €55M-€60M, a figure that is still considered too high by Roma mangement.
