Icardi's stubbornness is hurting Inter. Roma and Napoli are ready, but the player will only wait for Juve
Mauro Icardi is doing whatever he can to wait for Juve. Roma want him, Napoli would love to have him but they have common issue: Icardi is convinced that he can end up at Juventus and does not want to listen to other proposals.
To convince him to revise his position, it is necessary to wait a few days until the end of the transfer market and if at that point Juve still have not come forward, he would consider Roma and Napoli. But both of these teams, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, cannot wait that long.
It seems like a lifetime since the last time Icardi was on the pitch and so it will take time for him to settle in a new environment and especially working him back into shape. Roma face Genoa and Lazio in the first two games of the season and they cannot do so without a striker.
Dzeko’s future at Inter depends on Icardi and if there is no breakthrough in the coming hours, the chances of Conte working with the Bosnian striker will be reduced to almost zero.
