Roma now value Dzeko at €25M and will only accept offer with Icardi included
Roma have said stop. Time out. Per Edin Dzeko, they will no longer accept cash-only offers. Inter had months to close the deal at €20M but did not do so. Now, Dzeko’s brilliant preseason has not only raised his value further, which is now €25M plus bonuses, but signing him is no longer a simple matter of cash.
We are approaching Ferragosto and 10 days until the start of the season, Roma do not believe that there is time to find a credible alternative that can replace Dzeko who has proven to be the perfect center forward for Fonseca’s style. And at the moment, his desire to leave doesn’t seem to be enough.
Roma waited for Inter to offer €20M (deemed excessive by Suning) and now to sell Dzeko, they need another striker in return and the Giallorossi are only interested in Mauro Icardi, for whom they are willing to put on the table Dzeko plus €30M. The obstacle is the player himself: he appreciates interest but is waiting for another call, that from Juventus.
