Juve remain ahead for Chiesa but Marotta is trying to get back in the game for next summer
The market battle between Inter and Juventus for Federico Chiesa has been going on for more than a year and it is destined to last for a few more months. Few weeks ago, it seemed done with the Old Lady due to the economic upper hand that they had but thanks to Rocco Comisso, new owner, blocking the deal, Inter remain in the running.
Chiesa will stay in Florence this season but Marotta will try to get back into the game and has already let the Viola know his intention. But Paratici remains ahead thanks to the fact that the player has chosen Juve, with whom there’s an agreement for €5M per season. Inter would have no problem paying that figure but first they need to convince the Italian to change his mind and that the city of Milan would be the best choice for him.
