Antonio Di Natale: "Sanchez thrives in 3-5-2 system. You will see, he's going to be unstoppable and will score many goals for Inter"

Speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, legendary Serie A and Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale gives a huge thumbs up to Inter as the Nerazzurri are finalizing deal for Alexis Sanchez.

“Sanchez at Inter would be an extraordinary signing. The choice of appointing Conte as coach was a clear sign showing the club’s ambition. And the market that Marotta is directing demonstrates that this Inter are very close to Juventus. Sanchez? He and Inter can win together. He is an exemplary professional, one who always arrives early in training and gives everything on the pitch. In Italy, he left so many wonderful memories and when he played with me in Udine, Conte asked for him to come to Juventus. There are all the ingredients for a great season. He needs trust and Conte knows him well: I’m sure he will do very well.”

However, the last 18 months of Sanches told a different story…

“I think he had some physical problems and certainly a difficult environment. Sanchez is a player who needs to play continuously and feel important to make the best out of him. This has not happened at Manchester but it is impossible to question his talent.”

From Guidolin’s 3-5-2 to that of Conte: will that facilitate his inclusion in a new environment at Inter?

“He became a decisive player in that system and having a giant like Lukaku next to him will help Sanchez to find himself quickly. As a second forward, Alex is unstoppable with his power and speed. And as a true center forward, you will see: he will score many goals. His cycle in England seems to be over. There is a new need for new challenge and Inter are the right club to restart his career and Conte is the best coach for him to return to the best levels. Sanchez then will have a great desire to show it all…”
