Vidal wants Serie A return to work with Conte again and Barcelona are open to loan deal: Inter-Vidal could be done by end of August
This is like a flashback to exactly one year ago. Arturo Vidal playing at Inter could now become a reality after so much flirting in summer 2018. There was an agreement with Bayern Munich and the Chilean player but Suning then preferred to allocate the final non-EU spot to Keita Balde of AS Monaco.
Between Vidal and Conte, the special feeling remains. “I would follow him everywhere, even in war,” the Chilean said that some time ago. The player and his agent have sent more than just one signal of openness to return to Italy. He misses Serie A and would like to work again with his former maestro. With the departure of Nainggolan and the strong possibility that Borja Valero and Joao Mario will follow, Inter could swoop in for Vidal on a dry loan deal at the end of August.
Even Barcelona are open to do this sort of deal, given that Vidal is now on the for-sale list of coach Valverde and has expressed the desire for a new experience. And with two months already paid by Barca, wages would become less prohibitive. In short, lookout for this option as we are inching closer to the end of the window.
