Milito denies words on Icardi: "I never spoke about disrespect towards the player. In fact, Inter, with competent people, manage this situation the best way"

Diego Milito, on his social media page, denies the words that were going around the media earlier today.

“Last night I was on a television program in Argentina and was asked for my thoughts about the situation of Mauro Icardi. I responded with great serenity, as always, but unfortunately today some media outlets reported words that I never said. Such as ‘lack of respect’ from Inter towards the player. It is absolutely not true and I don’t allow myself to judge, from the outside, the work of this great club in which very competent people are able to manage this situation in the best way. I only hope, as I said yesterday, that a solution can be found as soon as possible for the good of the player and the club that I always carry in my heart.”
