Inter already granted Lautaro Martinez wage increase to €2.5M. New contract should be until 2024

According to Tuttosport, while waiting for the renewal (Inter are not in a hurry on the subject because the player is still tied to the club by a contract until 2023), Lautaro Martinez’s wages have already been adjusted. Il Toro was granted an important increase to €2.5M (going from €1.5M) per season. This recognition, given by Marotta and Ausilio, was taken into account how well the player did in the first season in black and blue. As confirmed by the player’s agent, another round of meetings should take place in October and then everything should be ready for a happy ending.

Furthermore, Lautaro has a release clause of €111M. His entourage would like to keep it while Inter intend to remove it because Marotta, historically, is not convinced.
