Suning sees €24.1B in revenues in first six months of 2019 as Zhang is calling Evergrande to be Inter's next main sponsor
After spending two days in Italy, Zhang Jindong returned to China with a bit of disappointment after Champions League debut, but the match against Slavia Prague was just a small detail of his Italian mission.
The Suning boss in the stands was sitting between his son Steven and Xu Jiayin, founder of Evergrande and part of the Chinese delegation ready to do business in Europe. And Suning, through Inter, is turning itself into European gateway for massive Chinese companies under the direction of Beijing government.
Suning, as a company, is already huge and very well known: €24.1B in revenues in the first six months of 2019, 21% of annual growth with over 12 thousand stores and 200 thousand employees.
The next step for them seems to expand into the Italian market together with Evergrande which is a football power in Asia and is suspected to be the next main sponsor of Inter.
