Lautaro: "Icardi wanted to stay but he always said that he must play. Lukaku? Striker with incredible attributes"

Speaking to TyC Sports, Lautaro Martinez goes back to talk about the case of Mauro Icardi.

“I have a good relationship with him, we talk a lot. He wanted to stay at Inter but in the conversations that we had he always talked about how he must play. Now he’s with another team and I wish him the best because since my arrival, he has been a key person to help me settle in Italy the best way possible.”

Whereas Icardi is now the past, Lukaku is Inter’s present and future and Latuaro also talks about his new striking partner.

“Lukaku immediately adapted to the ideas of coach and how the team plays. He’s a striker with incredible characteristics, very powerful. I was surprised by his great stature.”
